Due to the current safety procedures for Covid, we are introducing a temporary local rule, as below, with immediate effect
If a player's ball lands in a FOOTPRINT in a bunker, and this is VERIFIED by one of his playing partners, he may, without penalty, take relief within six inches of the FOOTPRINT.
After playing their shot, a player should smooth out any footprints in the bunker for the benefit of following players

This is a rule that should be standard throughout golf. You should never be penalised for someone elses poor etiquette. Good to see we have introduced it at this time.
